The "Sparpreis Europa" saver fares are available from cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. They always include transit through Denmark using either DB IC Buses or EC trains. From Sweden to Copenhagen, tickets are only available for travel with either SJ high speed trains (designated as "X2" when booking) or the Oresund regional trains. It is not possible to book a ticket valid on both types of trains!
If you want to travel with the Malmö - Berlin night train in the summer you have to book it separately too from the operator "Snalltaget".
How to buy tickets:
- buy a saver fare ticket via the Deutsche Bahn booking link from Sweden to Germany. These saver fares are available for example from Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö.
- if it is not possible to book the whole trip in one ticket via the Deutsche Bahn link, split it into two bookings:
First ticket from your departure station in Sweden to Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö via the booking link of ACPRail/SJ.
Second ticket from Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö to Germany via the Deutsche Bahn booking link.
To buy a train ticket from Sweden to Denmark, have a look at the booking links. Depending on where you start in Sweden, you first have to buy a ticket from your starting place in Sweden to Copenhagen (Denmark) via SJ. From Copenhagen, buy a train ticket via DSB to your destination place in Denmark.
If there is no booking option from your departure place in Sweden to Copenhagen, book to Malmö, the last stop in Sweden. From Malmö take a train via the Öresund Bridge (train runs every 20 minutes) to Copenhagen, from where you continue.
From Copenhagen you have frequent train connections to every place in Denmark.
If you want to travel from Sweden to Estonia, you have to include a ferry on the route from Stockholm (Sweden) to Tallinn (Estonia). Daily ferry connections are available which take about 16 hours.
To travel from Sweden to Finland, you have two main routes. In the South by ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki or Turku. In the North by bus from Lulea (Sweden) to Kemi (Finland). There are good train connections available to Stockholm, Lulea (Sweden) and from Helsinki, Kemi, Turku (Finland) onwards.

To travel from Sweden to India, there is no rail connection available. We recommend to book a direct flight via the given booking link. Train tickets in India are available via 12go.asia.
If you want to travel from Sweden to Latvia, you have to include a ferry on the route from Stockholm (Sweden) to Riga (Latvia). Daily ferry connections are available which take about 16 hours.
To travel from Sweden to Norway by train, there are three main routes available. In the south from Göteborg (Sweden) in direction of Oslo (Norway). In the middle from Östersund (Sweden) to Trondheim (Norway). And in the north coming for example from Stockholm (Sweden) or Lulea (Sweden) via Abisko (Sweden) to Narvik (Norway).

Both countries offer very good night train connections to travel long-distance. The railway network in the North of Norway is not connected between Narvik and Fauske/Bodö. You have to take the bus for this part.
If you want to travel the direct way from Sweden to Poland, make use of a ferry.
First travel by train to Stockholm/Nynäshamn or Ystad (Sweden).
Use a direct suburban train from Stockholm main railway station to Nynäshamn (1:15h, EUR 3). From Nynäshamn (Sweden) continue by ferry to Gdansk (Poland).
In Ystad, have a short walk from the railway station to the ferry terminal. From Ystad (Sweden) continue by ferry to Świnoujście (Poland).
Finally continue by train from Gdansk or Świnoujście to your destination.
