Before I ask, I'll just say this this whole website and forum is the single most impressive interrail thing I've come across, the help is unreal. So yes, great work here.

I know the website has the overall costs part to help, but I'd like to enquire about this here, going on people's experiences and whatnot. Me and 2 friends are going to do the interrail thing next year, and below is a list of places we are planning to visit. How much money do people recommended we save for the time in Europe, for sleeping, eating and smiling. I feel a bit silly asking this as the website does have the overall costs thing, but you cant beat actual experience and advice. So yes, thank you in advance. List of places below...

Amsterdam
Belgium (Antwerp and the various war memorials)
Luxembourg
Denmark (Copenhagen)
Sweden (Malmo)
Poland (Krakow and Auschwitz)
Czech Republic (Prague and possibly Brno)
Austria (Vienna)
Switzerland (Zurich and the Alps)
Italy (Rome and Elba)
France (Paris)

Obviously wether we get around everywhere will depend on time, but that's a rough guide.

Thank you!

I think you should use the calculator: https://rail.cc/en/overall-costs
but it'll be more expensive than the calculator will tell, because you're planning to stay a lot in the more expensive countries, only Czech Republic and Poland are quite cheap.

thank you. i used the calculator, as expected really. the plan is to take a lot more than that, rather be comfortable than struggling right.

any other experience of cost in countries?
