Vi vill resa mellan Hamburgs flygplats och Plön Koppelsberg men när jag vill beställa resan i december finns det inga datum efter 27 november. Går inte tågen i december i Tyskland? Vi vill åka 27 dec o hem igen 1 jan 19.

we want to travel in Germany but i couldnt find any dates after 27/11. Cant you travel by train in Germany in december? we want to go from Hamburg to Koppelsberg in Plön by train from 27/12 to 1/1-2019, if somebody know please tell me how to do. otherwise we have to rent a car.

Don\'t worry, trains will run in December as well! The current timetable is valid only until 9.12. Booking for trains after that date will open on 16.10.

Koppelsberg is a really nice area, I stayed there already on the campsite.
To travel by train, check the booking website [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] for schedules and fares.
Select "Hamburg airport" to "Koppelsberg, Plön" and add a VIA "Hamburg Hbf".
The journey times is about two hours and depends on the connection you chose.
If you use a connection with change from train to bus in Plön, the bus station is just in front of the station. It is very small there, no need to hurry. See here: [u]https://rail.cc/en/ploen/ploen-railway-station/l2625[/u]
Ticket prices are for the "SH Tarif": if you travel alone, it is about Euro 21. If you travel in a group (= from two up to five people / only connections after 09:00 h), it is about Euro 38 for all. You are flexible as the SH Tarif ticket is valid for the whole day. If your flight is late, just use the next connection travelling the same route.
IMPORTANT: do you travel from Denmark/Sweden to Koppelsberg? If so, there is even a much cheaper option available for you. Buy a "Sparpreis Europa" of "Deutsche Bahn" (=German railways saver fare). It is valid for the route Denmark/Sweden (for example Copenhagen, Malmö, Göteborg, Stockholm) to Plön. Tickets available from Euro 29,90 per person.
In Plön you get to the bus. Single bus ticket from Plön to Koppelsberg is Euro 1,70.
The above solution is to travel the route by train.
If you want to travel by bus, go first from "Hamburg airport" to "Neumünster ZOB". One-way ticket Euro 18,50 on [ux]https://www.kielius-onlinebuchung.de[/ux]
There you change to another bus from "Neumünster ZOB" to "Plön Koppelsberg". If you use a direct bus, the ticket is Euro 4,85 (pay at the bus driver in cash).
