Hi All,
I Just need some advice as I cannot make up my mind! I intend to travel from Istanbul to London via train, with stops being Bucharest, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Berlin, Paris and then the eurostar or flight to London.
Which would work out cheaper, point to point tickets or a interrail pass? If I purchase the interrail pass it will most likely be the 7 travel days within one month pass.

Budapest - Wien: Fortuna (advance fare) tickets available from 13€ at [ux]http://rail.shop/mav[/ux]
Wien - Salzburg: order at [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux] both operators ÖBB and Westbahn have cheap advance fare offers from about 14€
Salzburg - Berlin: "Sparpreis" (advance) fare tickets available from German Railways at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

You need to check prices for each leg individually and make a calculation to compare with Interrail.

For day trains, no reservation needed for Budapest - Wien - Salzburg - Berlin; from Berlin you can travel by ICE (high speed train) without a reservation to Cologne and continue by Thalys: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/thalys-paris-cologne/[/ux] or go to Frankfurt and take a ICE or TGV "Alleo" service to Paris: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-alleo/172[/ux]
