We would like to make an overnight trip to Plitvice Lakes. It appears that there is no train service here, but instead bus. Are these busses covered by the interrail pass?

Also, is November still a good experience, or will it be a wasted attempt with winter setting in? What is the likelihood of transportation interruption?

Hi and welcome to railcc!

No, the buses to/from Plitvice are not included in Interrail. You have to buy separate tickets; for example at [ux]https://rail.shop/getbybus[/ux]

Regarding weather...I havent been there in November but IMO it is definitely worth a visit; with the sun shining anyway, but even on a cloudy/foggy day it could be quite nice I imagine. Definitely get some warm clothes though.
Another option could be Lake Bled in Slovenia [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/[/ux] which is easier to access by rail; still it is different to Plitvice.

Transport interruption would only be an issue in most severe weather conditions.

You can now get 15% discount on your Interrail Pass: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/interrail-autumn-winter-promo-2017/[/ux]
