We are moving from Istanbul to Guangzhou this summer. We have 6 cats (yes, really) and to avoid making several round-trip flights get all 6 of them moved (not putting them in plane cargo), I would like to take them by train. I see where (multiple) train(s) travel is possible from Istanbul to Guangzhou. Does anyone know if this is an option?

Hmm...travel from Istanbul to Guangzhou would probably take somewhat around ten days, so I am not quite sure if that is the best option for you?
The standard route would be moreoreless Istanbul - Bucharest - Kyiv - Moscow - Beijing - Guangzhou.

Yes, I did determine the time and approximate price. I was just wondering if pets were allowed. I did find out they are. Sadly, once in China, the 2 per passenger drops to 1 per passenger, making for a snag!
