San Salvatore
The mountain in Lugano. Easy to reach by funicular. Operates from 09:00 bis 18:00 h. Ascent and descent = 28 CHF. If you have enough time, you can hike the mountain on foot. Calculate one-way 1.5 hours according to the signs.
Monte Brè
The Monte Bre is a mountain in the east of Lugano. From here you have a great view of the Bernese and Valais Alps and the bay of Lugano. In addition, the Monte Bre is considered the sunniest mountain in Switzerland. It can easily be reached by cable car from Lugano-Cassarate (one-way: CHF 16, return: CHF 25).
Parco Civico
The Parco Civico is a very nice and well-kept park on the shores of Lake Lugano. From Lugano train station you can reach the park in a 15 minutes walk.
