Hi!
On the webpage of slovenian railways I found the information about night train connection from Ljubljana to Prague, which would start in May 2011. Will I be able to take that train with an InterRail ticket? And am I going to have to pay any supplement?

I will appreciate any information :)

Hi Mateja!

Where did you find the information about this train (link)? I havent heard of the introduction of such a train...

Anyway, if the train is running you will be able to use it with InterRail, calculate with ~5€ for a seat reservation and 15-20€ for a couchette.

Hey flow! 8)

Here is the link: http://www.slo-zeleznice.si/sl/potniki/v-tujino/ceska/praga
As you can see, the train from Ljubljana takes away at 23.50h and comes to Prague at 12.18h. Timetable is valid till 10/12/2011.
I going to take this train, so i was wondering, how much ahead must i reservate a seat or a couchette?

Hi!

OK, well this is not a direct train. Now everything is clear, I thought there might be again a direct train. :D

However, you can find the rates for the night train here :arr: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-munich-en-498/152

The connection shown at the SZ website includes a bus from Nürnberg to Praha - which is included in InterRail but requires a ~10€ reservation!
Instead I'd recommend this free connection by train from München to Praha (including enough time in München for a short walk in the the city centre with a breakfast): :)

München 0901 - 1454 Praha

I'd reserve the seats a week or so in advance - as soon as you know when you are travelling.

Well:

- there is no direct train Ljubljana - Praha
- you can go with overnight train (follow the link I posted) Ljubljana - München and then continue with another train at 0901 to Praha (reservation needed for night train only)

;)

Sorry for bothering you Flow :os

https://rail.cc/en/train/munich-to-prague I read here that the train Munich-Praga which takes away from Munich at 9:01 isn't daily. Any links where i can check when this train drives :?:

No problem ;)

It runs daily but until mid August there is a slightly later arrival in Praha (1506). :)
