Hello! Is there anybody that can tell me the (approx.) price of a train ticket from Ljubljana to Zagreb? Furthermore, is there any chance the train is sold-out when you buy tickets an hour before? Namely, we arrive in the city by plane and want to Zagreb directly. Thanks in advance for your help.

Standard int rate is 25€, but local at the station you should be able to get it for 9€.
All trains can sell out, I do not know how popular this route are - but as a general rule you can find a place in most train, and the traveltime is short...

Hi and welcome to railcc!
You should at least get a special "City Star" fare for about 20€ when you buy the ticket locally. Cheapest fare would be 9€ as already mentioned but these ticket are subject to availabilty.
Regular tickets on this route do not sell out as trains can be used without a seat reservation. Regular tickets are also issued for any train on the route so you do not have to take a certain connection.
