München: Szép helyek

The Olymipiaalm is a small beer garden in the middle of the Olympic Park ("Olympiapark"). Get there by public transport (the fastest way is certainly the subway, ie with the U2/U3 to Scheidplatz or the U3 to Petuelring). Then just ask someone because it is not signposted. Approx. 10 minutes foot walk from the subway to the beer garden. Bring your own food - but you can also buy various foods there. The beer garden can accommodate 300 guests. Open daily. This beer garden is the highest beer garden in Munich, on the 564m high Olympic Mountain ("Olympiaberg"), made after the 2nd world war out of rubble. But unfortunately there is no view from the beer garden right on the city, which I found a bit unfortunate. Only from the adjacent meadow you have a good view. It is allowed to take the beer with you to this meadow.

Beer garden close to city district of Munich Grünwald. The tram stop for lines 15 and 25 is called "Menterschwaige", from there only a few minutes of walk.
