We are a large group , i am trying to find out ,....what i have to do ...
I would like to get couchettes, for overnight train travel.... Brasov / Budapest.
Do i have to buy each person a ticket, or just pay for the couchettes.
There are 13 of us travelling together, and
would like to catch a one way overnight train from brasov to Budapest...keleti.
Would three couchettes be enough for all of us.
And how would i relate that to the person at the international ticket counter.
Do i just ask ......i would like to buy one way overnight couchette tickets for 13 people, for 2nd class. To Budapest Keleti station.
And would like to know , what time does the last overnight train leave., for budapest. And do you need to be there at the station by a certain time.
Thank you, i hope someone can clarify this for me. I am so confused with all the rail systems now as i still have to get rail tickets, from Amsterdam to Paris,
And then from disneyland paris chessy station to Nice France. So frustrated as
Now they have the transport strikes.
When you book , you can only book for 5 at a time ,
If anyone can help me with step by step, on how to ask properly, and what
To actually do for each of my destinations, i would be very grateful.

For group bookings I would recommend to directly contact Romanian Railways CFR Calatori: [ux]https://rail.shop/cfr[/ux]
There are three different night trains from Brasov to Budapest, have a look here: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/night-train/romania/ro[/ux]
I would recommend to travel with "Ister" which has a comfortable couchette car and a decent arrival time in Budapest.
Night train "Corona" has older couchette cars which are a bit more "romantic" and would also take slightly longer.
Keep in mind that on both trains there will be border controls early in the morning at around 5am.
Regarding the other trains I can also only recommend to directly contact the train companies for group bookings.
Regular online ticketing is often only available only up to about five tickets or so per booking and group travellers should contact the companies directly.
