I have a flexi - eurail pass of 3days https://rail.cc/en/eurail. I wish to travel from Kiruna to Stockholm and the train is at 18:34. Will i have to fill in 2days of travel? Could this be an exception to the rule? If not can i book ticket from kiruna to Stockholm but board train from gallivare? And travel from kiruna to gallivare with a normal ticket as train at gallivare arrives at 8pm

Hi and welcome to railcc!

The 1900 rule does not apply here and there is also no exception to it that I am aware of.

You can buy a reservation from the next stop after 1900 (Gällivare) plus a regular ticket for the trip from Kiruna to Gällivare.

What kind of ticket have you booked? A regular ticket? Or are you talking about a reservation for Eurail? What kind of accomodation have you booked?

I have reserved 2 sleeper compartments. We are a family of 4. I reserved through Eurail.

OK so you made Eurail reservations. You didnt buy a separate, regular ticket, right?

I would recommend to contact SJ (Swedish Railways) directly via [ux]http://rail.shop/sj/[/ux] to make sure that you can board the train in Gällivare; or to be more precise - you can board the train but it could happen that your reservations will be void if you dont show up in Kiruna; thats why it would be good to contact SJ directly.

I mailed SJ but i received an automated reply saying they would reply within 4weeks. By that time my trip would already be over.
