Our travel plans make it desirable to leave our luggage in storage at Frankfurt HBF for around 6 hours. I downloaded the station map from the DB website and I think I\'ve figured most of it out, but my German\'s VERY rusty, and Google\'s not much help so I\'m asking here for some confirmation and clarification:

In the above screenshot, I\'ve highlighted the 2 facilities in different colours. If I\'m not totally clueless, Gepäckaufbewahrung is luggage storage and Schließfächer are lockers? If that\'s so, does the "aufsicht" indicate that the Schließfächer are monitored or observed at all times? Also, is the Gepäckaufbewahrung a staffed luggage storage area, with human monitoring of the items stored there?

One last big question: - Even though I\'m reasonably confident I\'ve understood the map more or less correctly, searching the Frankfurt HBF official website for "Gepäckaufbewahrung" and for "Schließfächer", I was unable to find any indication of how much these services cost. Können Sie mir helfen, bitte? :D

Gepäckaufbewahrung = luggage storage
Schließfächer = lockers

"Aufsicht" = "supervision", in this case probably the same office as luggage storage; in case you have any troubles with your locker you can go there.
I would assume that there is CCTV; the "Aufsicht" is also in charge of the locker/luggage storage area.

6€ for a large locker according to [ux]https://rail.cc/en/frankfurt-am-main/frankfurt-central-railway-station/l272[/ux]

Thanks Flo - it\'s been 30+ years since I was bilingual in German, nice to know I haven\'t forgotten EVERYTHING :) Also good to know that the lockers are cheap!
