Hi everybody,

I'll buy a InterRail Global Pass and i would like to know if these type of trains are considered special trains, on which i have to pay extra: IC, EC, EN.

Details:
EN 268 Budapest - Munchen
EC 196 Munchen - Zürich
IC 922 Zürich - Bern

For the EuroNight i know that i have to pay extra if i want to get a sleeping-car.

hi...just have a look on https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/budapest-munich-en-462/56 : it is a night train so you have to pay a supplement which you have to ask for directly at the station. should be about 10 EUR for 6-bed-couchettes.EC 196 Munchen - Zürich: in the past it was 3 EUR - but since the ticket changed to a new interrail version, nothing mentioned about supplements. so this train should be free of a supplement.IC 922 Zürich - Bern: the same like above. it should be free of a supplement.have a lot of fun ...Peter :)

But if i have a train which traverses 4 countries, in which country should i look for the supplements.

My case:

Timisoara - Munchen
-initial code IC 46 Timisoara - Lokoshaza
-changes to IC 731 Lokoshaza - Budapest
-changes to EN 268 Budapest - Munchen

This is the same train but it changes it's code in major stations.

if the train crosses more than one country, you go to the station where your train starts and buy there the supplement. you will have to pay only one supplement (if needed) ... :)
