Hi, I'm planning to have some days in Kosice during my interrail, but I can't find any train connection between Kosice and Spisske Podhradie (a town near Spis castle) and Levoca :'( . Are there any train/bus connection? or would it be better to rent a car for a day?

Hi Lorenzo!
Spišský hrad is directly in Spišské Podhradie and not far away from the city centre (about 1h walk according to a website...I think that the access to the castle is on the far away side from the village, that's why). Unfortunately both branch lines to Levoča (from Spišská Nová Ves) and Spišské Podhradie (from Spišské Vlachy) have been suspended (the latter only last December)... :(
I think buses should connect all these cities but I didnt find a site with proper information though. :|
