Bars old town of Funchal

In the small pedestrian zone, which lies between Hotel Porto Santa Maria and Rua de Santa Maria, a restaurant follows the other. Especially nice to look at is in evening light. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to test single restaurants.

Bars hotel area of Funchal

The hotel area is located west of the old city center. It begins behind the Parque de Santa Catarina and extends over approximately 3 km (parallel to the coast). It ends at the Praia Formosa, the promenade with a few small beach bars. In the hotel area, there are countless cafes, bars and restaurants: for everyone taste and every budget.
