Hi,
is it possible to buy a seat rervation to Bernina Glacier Train online when you allready have an interrail pass. I mean just a seat reservation, not a hole trip? Do I use my Interrail Pass covernumber or what kind of a code?

Hi Tarja.
You can travel the route of Glacier and Bernina Express also for FREE with your Interrail ticket. Please read the information bellow.

If you want to use the Glacier Express, make the seat reservation as follows.
Go to the Glacier Express website ( https://shop.glacierexpress.ch ) .
- Select the option "Classic St.Moritz-Zermatt".
- Enter your departure and arrival station and your travel date.
- Select the connection and choose your seat.
- Enter your name and date of birth. And select the option "Interrail Pass" as "Discount". Then the price will be reduced.
- Important: you will receive your reservation by email as a PDF document. You don't have to print it out, it's enough if you can show it on your mobile phone or tablet.

For the Bernina Express make your seat reservation like this:
Go to the website of the Rhaetian Railway ( https://shop.rhb.ch/en/bernina-express ).
- choose the route and the date of travel.
- select the connection and your seat.
- enter your name and date of birth and select "Interrail Pass" as the discount. You can also have the seat reservation on your mobile phone. No need to print it out.

In my eyes, the route is much more interesting to travel by FREE (with your Interrail ticket) regional trains. You can include stops on scenic points and not just rush trough. Read the story on how to do this here in our blog: https://rail.cc/blog/interrail-route-glacier-express

Enjoy your trip, Peter :)
