Hi,
I\'m totally new and love to travel by train :-)
Currently live in Germany, but citizen of Poland. I plan to make a trip that will go through Poland (with stop) around europe and come back to Berlin, as my city of residence.
How to prove that I\'m resident of Germany?
Is there any way that some written confirmation from my landlord will be enough? I will have a signed flat lease agreement with dates.
Please help! I can visit Burgedam, but I\'m just moving to new place 1 day before I\'m starting my trip and planned to make my first Anmeldung fir that new place (weak german skills cause to to postpone that as much as I can... you know...)
Hope to have some ideas!

Hi and welcome to railcc!
No, you will need documents issued by a governmental agency; phone bills or flat lease agreements are not enough to prove your residence in another country in order to get an Interrail pass with this other country as your country of residence.
I dont know the exact German terms but I would assume that you need to go to the "Meldeamt" for instance and get your papers done there.
Question remains if that would be worth the hassle considering that you would only cross Poland on your trip and visit other countries too. Could be easier to get an Interrail Pass with Poland as your country of residence instead. And if there are time constrains as well then this would be your best/only option anyway...
