I bougth a ticket to travel by train from the Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg, and I have to change of train in Offenbourg. The train from Frankfurt arrives at 13.29 h. and I have to take the train to Strasbourg at 13.34 h. I have only 5 minutes to change. Is it difficult? Are the platforms close? Is it too short time to change? And if the train from Frankfurt arrives late, what can I do?

Thank you

Hi, welcome to railcc!

If you bought the ticket for this connection it means that the transfer between the two trains is doable within the given time (if the train from Frankfurt is on time and you are reasonably quick on foot). Tickets are available at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Frankfurt-Airport/Strasbourg-Gare[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/omio/Frankfurt-Airport/Strasbourg[/ux]
You have to transfer from platform 1 to 4, which means you have to use the underpass. If possible, get off the train at about one third of its length, then you should be very close to the stairs down to the underpass.
There is a second underpass towards the end of the platforms as well however the train to Strasbourg usually is closer to the stairs of the other underpass (towards the front of the ICE train).

In case you miss the train due to a delay you can take the next available train and are entitled to a 25% refund if your delay in Strasbourg is at least 60 minutes. This would be the case as the next train to Strasbourg is one hour later.
