Hi,
I\'m investigating a trip from Stockholm to Ventimiglia and back and I have three questions. 1 - Either if I go via Paris or via Milano there are changes to be done in Denmark and Germany with only 5-10 minutes at spare. This seems a little short as I know there can, will, be delays. I tried to choose earlier departures but it was the same. I didn\'t get any options were I arrived earlier to these stations. Would it be worth risking? 2- Is there any night trains going in north - south direction in Europe today? 3 - Can you buy all the needed tickets at one agency?
All the best

Hi pizeta, welcome to railcc!

1) Where did you look for schedules? Do you plan to make any intermediate stops along the way? Even if you want to get to Ventimiglia as fast as possible I would recommend to plan with at least one stopover along the way (or a night train, see below).
2) Night trains on your route:
[ux]https://rail.cc/en/night-train/stockholm-malmoe-nt-1/139[/ux]
[ux]https://rail.cc/en/night-train/berlin-malmoe-en-300/58[/ux]

[ux]https://rail.cc/en/night-train/munich-milan-en-40295-nightjet/273[/ux]
3) No. You can buy through tickets for a long part of the line from German Railways DB at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] or Omio [ux]https://rail.shop/omio/[/ux] from which you could buy most tickets needed however I would first like to find a suitable route for you before thinking about tickets. ;)

When do you want to travel? Do you want to make a return trip as well?
