The House of the Blackheads in Riga is located at the town square in the middle of the historic Old Town and near the Daugava. It served the merchants and the German citizenship of Riga for meetings and was first mentioned in 1334. After the House of Blackheads was completely destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt again in the nineties, and finally re-opened in 1999.
