Swiss Museum of Transport / Lucerna

Big interactive museum about transport in Switzerland and Worldwide.
There are also a planetarium, an IMAX-theater and a Hans Erni (Lucerne artist) museum.

In the museum there are different exhibitions:
1. TV
- Here you can visit the principle of a green box and also try it by yourself. - It's also possible to make your own TV show and send it to your E-Mail.

2. Trains
- A typical exhibitions about ancient trains. There is also explained, how a steam engine works and you can drive a train by yourself at the train simulator.
- There's also a miniature model of the well known Gothard and it's train connections.
- Right next to the miniature model, you can join an interactive exhibition about how the Gothard train connections were made.

3. Cars
- A special interactive exhibition about cars.
- You have also some information about hybrid motors.
- Also something funny and impressive is the crash simulator.

4. Airvehicles and space
- An exhibition about different airvehicles and airplanes.
- You can try to flight a helicopter or an airplane in simulators.
- There's also a small part about transport into space.

5. Ships & Mountains
- See how a ship is built and a watergate works.
- In the upper floors there's a exhibition about transport to the mountains.
- There is also a small interactive and very funny informatics exhibition.
