Hi!

I\'m from Portugal, I\'m going to do an Interrail next year and I have a main question to ask:

Some of the countries I want to visit require a Visa, So, should I request every single Visa I will need before starting the journey or is it possible to buy the Visa in the countries (during the journey) ?

Thanks

Hi cactusss and welcome to rail.cc
The countries you can visit with Interrail does not require a visa for Portuguese citizens. Or do you want to extend you travels and also visit countries outside of the validity of your Interrail pass ?
List of Interrail countries: https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail

Hi!
At the beggining I thought I would not need a Visa for none of the countries I want to visit but I started reading some info in the official site and I was confused about that.

I just want to visit countries inside the validy of the pass, I thought I would still need a Visa to enter Switzerland, for example. I think the information is not explicit on the official site.

Thanks

Ola,

you dont need a visa for any European country; the only Interrail country you will need one is Turkey. Check here: [ux]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/47/Visa_requirements_for_Portuguese_citizens.png[/ux]

Hi,
I am a Citizen of outside the EU but living in Dublin. Can Interrail Global entertain me? What would be the documents requirements for me to see the rails of European countries?

Best Regards,
Ahsan

Hi Ahsan, welcome to railcc!

With what kind of documents are you staying in Ireland?
For visiting Europe you probably need a Schengen visa depending on your citizenship. I would recommend to contact the embassy/consulate of your country in Ireland for more information.
