Hello,

In July, I plan to visit Chisinau (Moldova) coming in by train from Bucharest. Since Moldova is not an Interrail-connected country I would like to know if it's possible to do the Romanian part of the journey for free with the railpass and only pay for the Moldovan part in cash, WITHOUT hopping of at the border and wait for the next train? Since it's a nighttrain, it would be nice to stay on it all the way to Chisinau.
If this is possible, I probably will have a hard time explaining it when buying the ticket, especially since it's kinda off the beaten path. Does anyone have experience travelling to/from a non-interrail country with the railpass?

hej ... :)
as you need a supplement for the night train, you have to go in Bucharest to a ticket window. There you can ask as well for a ticket from the border station of Romania to Chisinau. it should be no problem... Peter :)
