May I board into train on another station than I do have on my ticket even though it is couchette wagon?
Difference between one and other station is only 6 minutes...

Thank you.

Hi Cestovatel14,

that depends on two things:

1) Which country and train are we talking about? What is the station your reservation starts from? At which station do you actually want to board the train?

2) What order are the two stations in? Which one comes first? The booked station or the station you want to board at?

In any case, most reservations on European trains, including couchette reservations, are often "exchangeable but not refundable", which means if you contact the train company (for example, by phone), you can have your reservation changed from one boarding station to another for a small fee. They will likely ask for your reservation number, which can be found on your ticket.

Best,

Quenzon

Hi and welcome to railcc!

Which stations are you talking about?
Normally not a problem at all since both stations very likely will be in the same city (Berlin, Warsaw, Prague,...?).
