1b Travelling from Helsinki (Finland) to Stockholm (Sweden)
To travel by ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm, book a direct overnight ferry. The daily departure time in Helsinki is in the late afternoon. The arrival in Stockholm in the morning. The journey time is about 17 hours. The ticket price starts from 85 Euro.
If you want to travel by a cheaper ferry or during the day (not overnight), you have to take a ferry route from Turku to Stockholm.

To travel from Stockholm to Copenhagen by train, you have frequent direct SJ X2000/Snabbtåg trains - at least every two hours. The journey time is about five hours. More connections are available with change in Malmö including an Öresundståg on the second part.

From Saint Petersburg to Moscow you can travel by Sapsan high-speed train or by night train. The fastest travel time on the Sapsan train is 3:30 hours. The night train takes 8 to 9 hours. There are two direct night train connections from Moscow to Berlin. The journey time is 24 hours. You can buy train tickets from 160 EUR. Three times a week you can travel on these direct train connections. One train connection ends directly in Berlin (EN440 13M Strizh). The second train connection goes from Moscow via Berlin to Paris (EN452 23J).
