Deutsche Bahn offers train tickets from selected destinations in Sweden to Germany, called "Sparpreis Europa". The ticket fare starts at 37 EUR.

These train tickets are available from cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö to Germany. They always include transit through Denmark on InterCity, EuroCity and ICE trains. From Sweden to Copenhagen, tickets are only available for travel on SJ high-speed trains (marked "X2000" when booking) or Öresundståg trains.

Travel from Hamburg to Brussels by train. The journey time is 6:50 hours. The train ticket price starts at 17 EUR. You have to change trains in Cologne.

From Hamburg to Cologne you travel by ICE train. From Cologne to Brussels you travel by ICE or Thalys high-speed-train.

Travel from Brussels to London by direct Eurostar high-speed-train. The journey time is 1:50 hours. The train ticket price starts at 57 EUR. There are at least 8 train connections daily.

If you want to travel cheaper use a bus. The journey time is 6 hours. The bus ticket price starts at 16 EUR.

2a Travelling from Kiruna (Sweden) to Copenhagen (Denmark)

To buy a train ticket from Sweden to Denmark, have a look at the booking links. Depending on where you start in Sweden, you first have to buy one ticket from your starting place in Sweden to Copenhagen (Denmark). From Copenhagen, buy a second train ticket to your destination place in Denmark.

If there is no booking option from your departure place in Sweden to Copenhagen, book to Malmö, the last stop in Sweden. From Malmö take a train via the Öresund Bridge (train runs every 20 minutes) to Copenhagen, from where you continue.

From Copenhagen you have frequent train connections to every place in Denmark.

2c Travelling from Hamburg (Germany) to Hoek van Holland (Netherlands)

To buy train tickets from Germany to the Netherlands, compare the booking links we give. Prices are usually the same, but sometimes vary slightly.

Depending on where you start in Germany (and where you want to travel to in the Netherlands), you can either use the route from Frankfurt via Cologne by ICE train to Utrecht and Amsterdam. Or from Berlin by direct IC train right into the West to Amsterdam.

The Europe Special fare ("Sparpreis Europa") of Deutsche Bahn is available from 29/39 Euro. As earlier you book, as cheaper the tickets are.

2d Travelling from Hoek van Holland (Netherlands) to Harwich (United Kingdom)

To travel from the Netherlands to the UK by train, the fastest option is to include the direct Eurostar train from Amsterdam to London (ticket price from 50 EUR, travel time is four hours). Buy your ticket via the booking links provided. There you can also find timetables and ticket prices. Book early in advance to get saver-price tickets.

To Amsterdam and from London, you may need to buy additional tickets if the booking of your entire itinerary is not possible in one step.

You can also include the ferry of Stenaline on the route from Hoek van Holland to Harwich (ticket price from 49 EUR, journey time is seven hours). Stenaline also offers tickets called "Rail&Sail" including the train ticket from and to the ferry.
