1a Travelling from Bodø (Norway) to Oslo (Norway)
To travel in Norway by train with NSB, please buy your train ticket online via one of the following booking links. There you find exact schedules and ticket prices. Advance fares (Minipris) can be considerably cheaper compared to full fare tickets.
For connections along the coast and in the far north you have to go with buses. For example from Bodö/Fauske to Narvik, to the Lofoten or from Narvik to North Cape. Narvik is connected by train from Sweden.

1b Travelling from Oslo (Norway) to Gothenburg (Sweden)
To travel from Oslo to Gothenburg/Göteborg by train, use one of the direct train connections. There are usually two to three connections per day with a journey time of about 3:40h. One-way train tickets are available from 25 Euro.
Beside the train connections between Norway and Sweden, you will also find a lot of bus connections.

1c Travelling from Gothenburg (Sweden) to Berlin (Germany)
Tickets from selected destinations in Sweden to Germany are available from DB (German Railways) directly via our partner link.
The "Sparpreis Europa" saver fares are available from cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. They always include transit through Denmark using either DB IC Buses or EC trains. From Sweden to Copenhagen, tickets are only available for travel with either SJ high speed trains (designated as "X2" when booking) or the Oresund regional trains. It is not possible to book a ticket valid on both types of trains!
If you want to travel with the Malmö - Berlin night train in the summer you have to book it separately too from the operator "Snalltaget".

- if it is not possible to book the whole trip in one ticket via the Deutsche Bahn link, split it into two bookings:
First ticket from your departure station in Sweden to Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö via the booking link of ACPRail/SJ.
Second ticket from Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö to Germany via the Deutsche Bahn booking link.

There are no passenger trains between Montenegro and Albania. To cross the border, travel by bus or minibus. There are frequent conections betwen Ulcinj and Shkoder as well as services from Podgorica to Shkoder and also long distance buses operating from Kotor and Podgorica to Shkoder and Tirana.

2a Travelling from Bodø (Norway) to Narvik (Norway)
To travel from Bodø to Narvik, you have to use the bus. There is no train connecting these two cities in Northern Norway. It is possible to leave the train coming from Trondheim already in Fauske, to get the bus to Narvik. From Narvik you have a train connection to Sweden.

2b Travelling from Narvik (Norway) to Stockholm (Sweden)
To travel from Norway to Sweden by train, there are three main routes available. In the south from Oslo (Norway) in direction of Göteborg (Sweden). In the middle from Trondheim (Norway) to Östersund (Sweden). And in the north from Narvik (Norway) via Abisko (Sweden) in direction of Lulea (Sweden) or Stockholm (Sweden).
The best route for you depends on your departure station in Norway. Please use the following booking links to find the best route, schedules and ticket prices. If you book early, you will find attractive discount fares.
Both countries offer very good night train connections to travel long-distance. The railway network in the North of Norway is not connected between Narvik and Fauske/Bodö. You have to take the bus for this part.
