Travel from Serbia to Hungary by direct train on the route from Belgrade, Novi Sad to Budapest.

2021: the direct route Belgrade, Novi Sad to Budapest is under construction. The best option is to travel by train from Belgrade to Zagreb and from Zagreb to Budapest if you want to avoid changes and buses.

1b Travelling from Budapest (Hungary) to Kyiv (Ukraine)

Travel from Hungary to Ukraine by direct overnight train. It is the most comfortable way of travel between Budapest and Lviv/Kiev with a journey time of 15/22 hours.

You can also travel first with a ticket from Hungarian railways MAV to Zahony. Then buy a ticket locally at the train station from Zahony to Chop. And from Chop a ticket of Ukrainian railways to your travel destination. There are several daily trains crossing the border between Zahony and Chop.

Where to buy a ticket from Budapest to Kyiv?

Buy the train ticket at a railway station. Note: in some countries you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter. The ticket can be purchased at a station in the country of departure, also sometimes in other countries.

2c Travelling from Warka (Poland) to Moscow (Russia)

Travel from Poland to Russia by direct train. The main travel route leads from Warsaw to Moscow. The journey time is 15 hours. Train tickets are available from 150 EUR. Warsaw and Moscow are very well connected to the national railway networks of Poland and Russia.

Therefore you need three train tickets:
1. From your departure station in Poland to Warsaw.
2. The direct train from Warsaw to Moscow.
3. From Moscow to your travel destination in Russia.
