Hi

We are visiting Offenburg for the Dance World Cup this month but are staying in Strasbourg. According to google information, the easiest way to travel is by tram and then bus. Could you tell us if this is correct or if there are trains that run from Strasbourg to Offenburg regularly during the day?

We are also interested in finding out if there is a storage facility in Offenburg station for luggage whilst we are there throughout the day?

Many thanks

Hi Clare and welcome to railcc!

I would recommend travelling between Strasbourg and Offenburg by direct train. The full schedule can be found here: [ux]http://www.ortenau-s-bahn.de/html/media/dl.html?v=42716[/ux]

Last connection from Offenburg to Strasbourg is at 2325, arriving at midnight.

You can buy a day ticket (valid 24 hours), called "Europass" which is valid for all public transportation in and between Strasbourg and Offenburg. 1 person 9,30€, 2 persons (family) 14€, available from ticket machines at Strasbourg station, Offenburg station,...

Yes, there are luggage lockers available at Offenburg station.
