To travel by train from Spain to Switzerland, you have several routes you can use. First from you departure place in Spain to Barcelona. From Barcelona continue either via via Paris, via Mulhouse and Lyon or Geneva to Switzerland. If it is not possible to book your ticket in one step, add a second ticket for your travel in Spain to Barcelona via Renfe.
To travel by train from Spain to Germany, the main route leads from your departure station in Spain via Barcelona and trough France to Germany.
Either buy one train ticket from Spain to Germany via the given booking links. Or split the booking in two tickets: one for the route from Spain via Barcelona to Paris (France). And the second one from Paris to Germany. It might be the case that you need another ticket for travelling inside Spain to Barcelona, but finally depends on your route.
To travel by train from Spain to France, use one of the direct high-speed-trains from Barcelona to Paris and southern France. First you travel in Spain to Barcelona. There you change to the trains to France. Another option is to cross the border at Irun/Hendaye and to continue from there to your destination in France. And a second one from Barcelona to your destination in France. Book early to get discounts and saver fares.
To travel from Spain to India, there is no rail connection available. We recommend to book a direct flight via the given booking link. Train tickets in India are available via 12go.asia.
To travel by train from Spain to Italy in one day is possible on the route Barcelona (Spain) to Milan (Italy). Please use the booking link we mention.
A more relaxing way is to have an overnight stop in between, for example in Nice (France).
If you want to use a ferry, have a look at the connection from Barcelona (Spain) by overnight ferry to Civitavecchia (Italy) which is located one hour by train to Rome.
To travel by train and ferry from Spain to Morocco, your first step is by train from your departure place in Spain to Algeciras in the South of Spain.
There you change to the ferry to Morocco. Several ferry providers are available and very frequent connections. Journey time from Algeciras (Spain) to Tanger-Med (Morocco) is about 1:30 h.
From Tanger-Med (the harbour) you have an hourly free (06:00-22:00 h, if you can show your ferry ticket) bus to Tanger-Ville, the main train station of Tangier. From Tanger-Ville you continue by train to your destination in Morocco.
To travel by train from Spain to Monaco, you first travel by train to Barcelona. From Barcelona (Spain) you continue by direct train to Marseille (France). Where you change to a train in direction of Nice and Monaco.
There are only two rail links between Spain and Portugal: the night trains from Madrid and Irun to Lisbon and the Celta trains in the north from Vigo to Porto. There is no rail connection in the south, when travelling between Sevilla and Faro we recommend to take the direct bus instead.
New is the day train connection with changes between Madrid and Lisbon.
