Netherlands - Austria
To travel by train from the Netherlands to Austria, you have to cross Germany. In Germany you have to change trains. For comfortable travel have a look at the night trains from Düsseldorf (Germany) to Austria.

Netherlands - Belgium
To travel from the Netherlands to Belgium by train, buy your tickets directly from Dutch Railways (NS) or Belgian Railways (Beurope) using the following booking links. There you also get tickets for the direct Thalys train.
The fastest connections are Thalys trains from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Antwerpen and Brussels. A cheaper but slightly slower alternative is the hourly IC Brussels service from Amsterdam via Den Haag - Rotterdam - Antwerpen to Brussels. You will also find regional trains from Roosendaal to Antwerpen and from Maastricht to Liège.

Netherlands - Czech Republic
To travel by train from the Netherlands to the Czech Republic, you have two main routes.
One by ICE train from the Netherlands to Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and on to Nuremberg. There you continue by Deutsche Bahn InterCity Bus to the Czech Republic.
Or by direct IC train from the Netherlands to Berlin (Germany). And from Berlin to the Czech Republic.

Netherlands - Germany
To buy train tickets from the Netherlands to Germany, compare the booking links we give. Prices are usually the same, but sometimes vary slightly.
Depending on where you start in the Netherlands (and where you want to travel to in Germany), you can either use the route from Amsterdam via Utrecht to Cologne and Frankfurt by direct ICE train. Or from Amsterdam by direct IC train right to the East, to Berlin.
