The bus station is served by international Eurolines buses as well as regional bus lines. Furthermore numerous buses of Cartreize, a transport company of Bouches-du-Rhône. Tip: young people under the age of 26 can get at the bus station a Cartreize card for free (passport photo required!) and travel with it 24 hours for EUR 2 throughout the Bouches-du-Rhône by use of the Cartreize buses (except line 91 Marseille Saint-Charles-airport and line 240 Aubagne-Marseille/Fourragère). Seniors (65 years) pay with Cartreize card EUR 1.50 each way. Example: Line 50 Marseille Saint-Charles to Aix-en-Provence is operated at peak hours in 5-minute intervals.
