The RER (in French) or GEN (in Dutch) trains operate on suburban lines around Brussels at regular and frequent intervals. A number of different EMU is used for these services.
- AM08: modern EMU, low-floor, air-condition, equipped for passengers with reduced mobility, bicycle transport, power sockets
- AM80, AM86: older EMU, bicycle transport
