Interrail and Regionaltog (Rg). How to buy a reservation or can I travel for free. Train information, photos and videos.

Regionaltog are stopping trains running on all lines operated by DSB (Danish Railways). They call at all stations, different train types are in use on different parts of the network.

- class ME diesel locos with double-deck trains: commuter services from Copenhagen to Holbaek, Kalundborg, Naestevd, Nykobing F, Rodby; 2nd and 1st class, air-condition, bicycle transport, facilites for the disabled, low-floor entry
- class MQ DMU: regional trains from Odense to Svendborg; 2nd class only, air-condition, bicycle transport, facilites for the disabled, low-flor entry
- class MF DMU: can be found on most lines; also used on Intercity and IntercityLyn services; 2nd and 1st class, air-condition, bicycle transport, facilites for the disabled, Wifi, power sockets

Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
