Hey everyone,

I am making an interrail trip with my friends this coming august. We couldn\'t find any cheap flights to Brussels from our state in Spain, so we are leaving Spain on train. This is our schedule:

August 15th:
Santiago de Compostela - Barcelona
Barcelona - Toulouse
Toulouse - Brussels (overnight)

August 18th:
Bus from Brussels to Amsterdam

August 20th:
Amsterdam - Berlin (overnight)

August 23rd:
Berlin - Vienna (overnight)

August 26th:
Vienna - Zurich (overnight)

We checked the reservation fees for some of these trains through the interrail website. We planned on making our reservations there, but when we checked our departure trip\'s fees, they were so expensive! Most of the trains had a fee of about 45 euro which was totally off our expectations since we hoped for an average of 25 euro per reservation. We stopped checking so I am not sure the fees for the rest of the trains. Then a friend told us not to make them through the website because very often the fees are misleading and higher, and advised us to make them on stations. Now, is it true we can make cheaper reservations at train stations? If so, do we risk missing spots if we make them the day we are traveling? We are afraid we might lose our trains or not find available places if we do it daily rather than ahead of our trip. Can anyone help me find the actual fees for this trip?

Hi!

Without knowing your actual connections I cant tell you the exact reservation prices.

We have listed all reservation prices for all different types of trains here: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation[/ux]
Night trains are listed here: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train[/ux]

Why do you want to take a bus from Brussels to Amsterdam?

I\'ll check those pages and let you know what I found.

We are taking a bus from Brussels to Amsterdam because it is such a short trip we don\'t think it\'s worth losing a travel day for it
