Museumsufer

Frankfurt has one of the most diverse and densely museum landscapes in Germany. Today in Frankfurt, there are about 60 larger and smaller museums and exhibition halls. The heart of Frankfurt's museums form 26 museums in an ideal location with short distances between each one and close to the city center. The so-called "Museumsufer" is situated between the Eiserner Steg and Friedensbrücke and includes 13 museums near the river. And again twice as many in the surrounding area. The Museumsufer can be reached from the railway station with the "Museumsuferlinie" (bus). A special ticket is available as well - the "Museumsuferticket". Whit it you can visit 34 museums on two consecutive days. The price of an adult single ticket is 18 EUR (as of 2015).
