hey people..
do i need a reservation or supplement for this train..and if so can i buy them online or on the interrail website..also any info about this train route would be great!!!! thanks x

I used part of the Vienna Belgrade train last year, and as far as I can remember we didnt need a reservation or suppliment. It was quite busy though, so it may be worth asking whether you can reserve a seat. The train was made up of modern Austrian coaches and was air conditioned and very comfortable

hey...
you have to buy the reservation at the station in Villach (for the direction to Beograd) ... it will be 5 EUR at the station. if you buy it in the train it will be 8 EUR. it is because you use a Slovenian international train.

but you are right...! from Vienna to Beograd it is free (as I remember as well). this is the way via Hungary.
and Villach to Beograd is via Slovenia with the supplement... :)
