Does anyone think that taking a credit card is a better idea for travelling for the insurance, availability of funds in an emergency...obviously i would pay it off as soon as i got back!
Does anyone know of one that would be good for use abroad without incurring loads of charges!?

I'm taking my VISA card, you can use it in almost every city in europe. And then i'm holding 100 euros in cash for emergency.
