Hi

I have read numerous topics but I still don't understand the train reservations stuff.

I am planning, with two friends, on travelling from Paris to Bruges. We all have a global month pass and that trip will be our first. We are all Interrail first-timers.

What I don't understand is when and where we need to reserve trains and how much it will cost. We have already spent 400 euros on the ticket after all.

The journey from Paris to Bruges will be in the late morning I guess. Could somebody please clear up for me if and when I should reserve the seats on the train and how much it will cost on average.

Thanks in advance.

hi Adam ...

1) select the connection you want to use. you can play on the website and avoid high speed trains:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

2) go to https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation and then you see the train categories - if you need a supplement or not.

you can always find a connection without any supplements !!!! :)
all the best, Peter :)
