Street performance - busking on Interrail

A couple of friends and I are going interrailing in a few days and are hoping to do some busking along the way to earn a little money (as well as to entertain the people of europe obviously). I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience doing this or has any useful advice. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks 🤣

At least in my country, Norway, you need written street performance permission from the city. I have no idea how other countries/cities are, but you should probably check this before you start :-)

I busked in Florence. Apparently it's illegal, but a Police car drove up and watched/listened for a while before driving away.

It was one of the highlights of my trip.
