Even near the train station? I hear it's a bit far off from the city center... Is this true?

from the main station to the city center it is a walk of about 20 minutes on normal walking speed... :)

I'm thinking about making a stop in Salzburg in my way from Munich to Vienna... Does anyone know if there are lockers in Salzburg station and how much do they cost?

Hi.
There are lockers. I am not sure about the prices, but it should be something like 3-4 EUR for a period of 24 hours.
