Hey guys,
I'm an Irish guy heading to mainland Europe to do two weeks interrailing and it's my first time. I wanted to know should I reserve couchettes on trains in advance here (because it costs extra in Ireland) or can I say reserve a train from Venice to Rome, or Krakow to Bratislava from say a staion in Paris, as I've heard its cheaper to do these reservations in mainland Europe. I'm heading out on the 4th of August, and would I have problems reserving a night train on the day before at the station of departure, I don't want to miss any trains as I've got to make my flight home on the 16th.
My itinerary is

Paris
Rome
Venice
Prague
Krakow
Bratislava

if anyone has any tips on what to see or do, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for the help,
-Tom

reservations are often cheaper if you buy them for example at a station in Paris... try it to book there all the night trains you need ! maybe the eastern-europe night-trains aren't available to book them in Paris, then try it in Italy...
because in August it is better to book some days in advance !! :)
