I\'m travelling with small children and most train companies website (db,sncf, etc.) give very few indications about WHAT is really the transfer time between connections.
When it\'s on the same platform it\'s easy, 5min might be enough but otherwise?
Is there a company/website that offer that kind of service? Otherwise it seems we need to look for the 3D map of every station and try to get a rough idea of the configuration of staircase/elevators/etc.

Hi.
We also have a little baby boy and now travelled a lot by train the past months.
My experience is: it depends on how much luggage you have. If you have a baby stroller with you or not (exit the train, no stairs, you have to wait for the elevator), etc.
We never used connections with "only 5 minutes to change", as then the situation became too stressful for all us and the fun was lost.
If you just want to plan you route and see which connections are available or not, use [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux] and open the options. There you can select how much time you need/want for a change of train.
A general answer from a dad, but maybe helpful?! :)
