Yes, but only for not too far ahead. Also its quite well possible that on your planned day there are service disruptions, work on the tracks, whatever, making it as for now not yet possible to book for that day. Try out a few other days, not too far ahead. Again; trains are NOT planes, also in this respect. And I do recall there may be longer time works, and as its mostly just 1 track, this will lead to reroutes or partial bus replacement. If VY will not do, try sj.se or the other sites that can book for SJ (=swedish state rails).
The most common reason is that people want to book too far ahead and get the fits as they think trains are ´full´. The truth is they are just way too early.

What date do you want to travel.
Usually this ticket is available on the SJ website or https://rail.shop/omio/oslo/stockholm
The journey time is about 5:30h for the direct trains.
