New raillink to airport to open-10/6/12
on that date the new raillink between the main airport BRUssel (NOT the RYAN strip at Charleroi/Gosselies) and northward to Mechelen-Anwterpen will open for regular service. This will lead to minor changes on raillines nearby-but hardly for routes that the regular newbie asks about.
The existing expressbus Antwerpen-Airport will probably cease from then on.
NOTE that IR-users (and anyone else too) has to pay an additional DIABOLO supplmt if you exit or enter at BRUssel Nationaal Airport station-currently 2.20. There will be new barriers and machines to sell those at only that station.

addition:
now that this new link has opened, the Diabolo suplmt (for ANYone-thus also IR-holders, exit or enrty at BRUssels airport) has doubled to now 4,40. In fact this is more as the normal ticket to BRUssel cost.
You can avoid it by walking (takes about 30 mins) from nearest by local station Zaventem (STOPping trains BRUssel-Leuven) or the LIJN local bus from Burrsels north, Vilvoorde, Mechelen, Leuven (all costy 3 eur or from that Zaventem (2eur).
