Peter - Do I need to have the pass (10 in 22) validated at the ticket office on the first day, or is this only for Eurail passes? The instructions on the pass don't say anything about this, but I have that nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I've read it somewhere...

you don't have to validate your pass as the first day your pass is valid is printed on it ...! you don't have to do it the double way !!
