hey, is i true if you start your trip after a 19.00 it counts as the same day, so for example if i set off at 19.30 on the 28th of augusts its ok if my pass doesnt actually start untill the 29th

the rule of 1900 for night trains exists. but this is NOT possible on your FIRST day of travel. so it is not possible if the first day your InterRail pass is valid is the 29th to start for you on the 28th after 1900 with a night train. the first time you can use a train with your InterRail pass is the 29th at 00:01h !!!
