it depends, youll need to get to Vienna and then you can go via belgrade or bucharest.

I prefer as well the route like SiDUDe via Paris - Vienna - Budapest - Belgrade - Sofia - Istanbul... much more romantic than Paris - Italy - ferry to Greece - Athens - Thessaloniki - Istanbul
