i have my interrailing ticket for europe, starting june 14th, and have received loads of advice and ideas on places to visit. trouble is, the most appealing include norway and italy - miles apart. is it unrealistic to consider taking in both north and south europe in a 1 month trip? thanks!

hey Sarah ... it is no problem ... I often visit Scandinavia to have nature and to relax ... and then go to the South for sun and beaches !! :)
Easy to do with night-trains... for example Copenhagen to Basel ... then continue to Italy ... or France...
for example by CityNightLine crossing Germany... 15 EUR supplement for a bed in a 6-bed-compartment or 10 EUR in a sleeping-seat. :)
to find connections, use this website: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
have a lot of fun,
Peter
